Over the years, a very big part of my roles and responsibilities involved greenfield projects. From procurement, budgets, infrastructure and Cloud implementations, the creation of operational processes, authoring security policies, implementing security programs and delivering security strategies, etc. This means I have a lot of experience when it comes to building something from nothing.
Designed and built complex and Highly Available IT Infrastructure solutions, for critical environments that require 24/7 availability and spread over multiple geographic areas. These projects included both on-premises solutions as well as Cloud implementations.
Delivered full Information Security programs, InfoSec processes such as security policies, change control procedures, Incident Management Plans, Business Continuity Strategies, risk management strategies, founded several committees to oversee things like Risk and Compliance and Technical Risk.
Experience with several recognized frameworks such as ISO27001, Centre for Internet Security (CIS), NIST, as well as regulatory obligations such as PCI DSS and GDPR.
Delivery and management of complex monitoring solutions. Including resource monitoring, Vulnerability monitoring, Event and threat monitoring, Anti Malware and DLP solutions.
Working with various types of third parties, from suppliers to business partners and service providers. Implemented and managed procurement processes, IT budgets and external relationships.
Delivered supplier management processes and policies as well as supplier due diligence programs.
Delivery of multiple Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions aligned with Company with heavy involvement of C-Level executives.
Experience leading teams with evidence of increasing productivity as a result of good mentoring, motivation and introducing Agile methodologies into Infrastructure management.
